Worlds Beyond is a symphonic metal band from Belgium.
Fans of Nightwish, Within Temptation, Evanescence, among others, will surely take the music to their hearts. Songwriter Tijmen is inspired by these symphonic metal bands, but also by rock bands such as X Japan and My Chemical Romance.
In addition, film music and soundtracks are a great inspiration for the band's hybrid rock sound. There is an interplay between the emotional & cinematic side on the one hand, and heavy rock/metal on the other. The songs are mostly about dreams, escapism, beauty, wonder and regularly find their inspiration in stories and nature walks. Lyrical music and imaginative lyrics are a wonderful result.
Vocalist Valerie's vocals have classical undertones. Together with Tijmen she writes the lyrics. For this, she mainly uses her emotions and life events as a starting point.
